Needham & Company, LLC has opportunities for senior investment bankers, specifically focusing on the technology, biotech and healthcare industries. This position requires an extensive background as senior/lead on mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, and other banking activities. The ideal applicant will have a minimum of 8-10 years of progressive investment banking experience, as well as an undergraduate degree in a related field (MBA preferred).
Vice President, Banker
We have an opportunity within our California office for a Vice President in investment banking. The position entails and requires experience in: market and financial research with specific focus on the technology industry, including the semiconductor and solar sectors, financial modeling, analytical skills, project management, team leadership, client outreach and management and business development. The ideal applicant will possess either a Masters degree in business administration, finance or equivalent with 3 years experience or a Bachelors degree in business administration, finance or equivalent with 7 years or suitable qualifications. Equity Research Analyst - Specialty Pharmaceuticals
We have an opportunity for a Research Associate within our Equity Research Division. The primary role is to assist a Senior Research Analyst with coverage of specific companies within the Specialty Pharmaceutical group. Responsibilities include: assist with the preparation of research notes, industry reports and monthly publications, perform analysis, forecasting and modeling for companies under coverage for the analyst's review and approval, pepare quantitative reports/spreadsheet analysis on specific companies for analyst's review, evaluates companies versus peer groups within the industry, perform special projects when needed. The successful candidate will have practical experience within the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences/Biotechnology sectors, possess a degree in finance, accounting or other related field, an MBA is preferred although not required. Executive Assistant
An immediate opportunity is available within the Corporate Finance Department of our New York office. The ideal applicant will have 2-4 years working within the financial services industry. Experience within investment banking is preferred but will consider individuals from a broker dealer, private equity or any other fast-paced environment that required strong multi-tasking and attention-to-detail skills.
