Richard Davis joined Needham & Company in 2000. Prior to joining Needham, Richard was at Tucker Anthony, where he was a managing director and launched the firm's Internet enterprise software coverage. His prior experience includes Rauscher Pierce, where as director of research he was instrumental in developing their telecom research effort. Richard was also a partner and analyst at Wessels, Arnold & Henderson. He has an AB from Davidson College and an MBA from Vanderbilt.

Jonathan Maietta joined Needham & Company in 2003. His focus is covering companies in the enterprise software sector. Jonathan was previously a member of the high yield fixed income department at Putnam Investments, where he worked in a variety of industry sectors. He has a BABS from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell and an MBA from Babson College.

Richard Valera has been with Needham & Company since 1997. Rich was ranked fifth in The Wall Street Journal's "Best on the Street" 2006 poll in the telecommunications equipment sector. He previously spent nine years in the EDA industry, most recently as a senior applications consultant at Synopsys, an industry-leading provider of logic synthesis and verification tools. Prior to Synopsys, he was employed at Viewlogic Systems and RacalRedac/HHB Systems in a variety of technical and marketing capacities. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University.

Scott Zeller joined Needham & Company in 2006. Scott joined Needham from FAC/First Albany Capital, where he served as vice president covering infrastructure software and devices. Prior to that, Scott was a member of the Institutional Investor-ranked software teams at Deutsche Banc Alex Brown and Lehman Brothers. Before his Wall Street career, he held IT consulting positions with Cambridge Technology Partners and Renaissance. He graduated from Cornell University with a BS in Economics.
