Needham believes face-to-face interaction between our institutional investor clients and the companies we represent is critical to achieving results and has been a key component of our success. We accomplish this in many different ways:
- Each year, our sales professionals bring hundreds of companies on "non-deal" road shows throughout the country to visit our institutional investor clients.
- We regularly host company management teams at our offices in New York, Boston, and San Francisco to update our salespeople on the businesses they represent.
- In addition to accompanying salespeople to meetings with institutional investors, Needham’s research analysts host a number of smaller scale, targeted marketing events to bring companies and investors together. These include industry targeted conferences, plant tours, bus tours of company headquarters and facilities, and shopping mall tours for our retail industry investors.
- Needham hosts five major investment conferences each year in New York City, including our Growth Stock Conference, which has been held each January for the last 16 years. In January 2014, close to 400 companies presented to approximately 1,250 institutional growth stock investors and 150 venture capital professionals during this conference.
