Craig Gilkes joined Needham & Company in 1990. He has more than 39 years of experience in institutional sales. Prior to Needham, he held various positions at Merrill Lynch, Oppenheimer, William D. Witter, Alex Brown & Sons and Smith Barney. Mr. Gilkes received a J.D. from Georgetown Law School and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Virginia.

He graduated from American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) and received a BA in East Asian Studies from Denison University.

John Thompson joined Needham & Company in 1995. John has over 17 years of experience in institutional sales. Prior to Needham, he held a similar role at Merrill Lynch. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, John spent nine years as an officer, serving primarily in submarines. He received a MS in Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management and is Chartered Financial Analyst.
