Jim King joined Needham & Company in 1993. Jim currently heads Needham’s activities related to Solar and Semiconductor Capital Equipment. While at Needham & Company, he has been responsible for the execution of over 50 equity financings and advisory transactions worth over $3 billion for technology companies. Additionally, Jim has significant technology operations and business strategy experience, working in strategic marketing at Silicon Graphics, in enterprise sales for a start-up software company and serving for three years as CEO of a demand chain software company he founded.  He holds an AB in Quantitative Economics and an MBA, both from Stanford University.

Stephan Leccese joined Needham & Company in 1997. Stephan’s primary responsibilities include expanding client relationships and developing, coordinating and implementing the firms’ strategy for a number of targeted industries, including Clean Technologies, Diversified Technologies, Industrial Manufacturing & Services, and Electronics Manufacturing Supply Chain. He has over 10 years of investment banking experience focused on growth-oriented companies. During his tenure at Needham, Stephan sourced and executed over 50 mandates for firm clients. His transaction experience includes equity and financial advisory transactions with both public and private companies, including some of the largest transactions in the firms’ history. Prior to joining Needham, he worked in the Business Assurance Group of Ernst & Young LLP in New York servicing some of the firms’ leading financial service clients. He graduated with honors from Queens College of the City University of New York with a BA in Accounting & Information Systems and holds a Certified Public Accountant license in New York State.

Oliver Gratry joined Needham & Company in 2002.  He is currently focused on the non-solar, clean-tech sector and also covers West Coast investments for Needham Capital Partners.  Prior to joining Needham, Oliver worked at Morgan Stanley, Agile Software, and KeyCorp. He holds a BS in Biology from Yale University and an MBA from Stanford.

Scott Glaid joined Needham & Company in 2006. Prior to joining Needham, Scott was a senior analyst at technology investment bank Ion Partners LLC. He possesses a Masters of Finance from the Institute of Political Studies, Paris, and graduated with highest honors from Boston College. He is a Level III candidate for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
