Jack Iacovone joined Needham & Company in 1995. Since joining Needham, Jack has assisted emerging growth companies complete over 50 equity financings and advisory transactions in a variety of industries. He has also sponsored over 25 principal investments made through the firm's Private Equity Partnership, Needham Capital Partners, and has sat on the board of directors or been an observer to the board of directors of six companies. Jack previously worked within the financial services line of business at KPMG Peat Marwick LLP. He received a BS in Accounting from Pace University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.

Thomas Shanahan joined Needham & Company in 2002. He serves as the Head of West Coast Investment Banking and also is a General Partner of Needham Asset Management, LLC. Tom is the former CFO and co-founder of Agile Software Corporation (acquired by Oracle). Additional Silicon Valley experience includes CFO assignments at SBT Corporation (acquired by Computer Associates), DG FastChannel, Inc. (public) and Sherpa Corporation. He has 14 years of investment banking experience at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and The First Boston Corporation (now Credit Suisse). Tom served as an officer in the First Infantry Division in Vietnam. He is a graduate of Stanford University (Phi Beta Kappa) and the Harvard Business School (Baker Scholar).

Philip Ianniello joined Needham & Company in 2002. Phil is focused on delivering the firm’s full spectrum of financing and advisory capabilities to technology-driven companies. Prior to joining Needham, he worked in the Investment Banking Division of Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. He graduated with high honors from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University with a BS in Business Administration, concentrating in Finance.
