George A. Needham
Chairman of the Board & Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Needham was formerly a Managing Director of The First Boston Corporation, where he organized and managed the New Business Development and Technology Groups.

John C. Michaelson
President of Needham Funds

Mr. Michaelson joined Needham & Company in 1986. Prior to that, he was in Corporate Finance at The First Boston Corporation and Morgan Grenfell & Co. Limited.

John J. Prior, Jr.
Managing Director, Corporate Finance

Mr. Prior joined Needham & Company in 1996 from Lehman Brothers, where he was a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division. Prior to that, he was a Partner at Scully Brothers & Foss and a senior banking officer at Salomon Brothers.

Chad W. Keck
Managing Director, Corporate Finance, West Coast

Mr. Keck heads the West Coast operations of the Firm. Prior to joining Needham & Company, Mr. Keck was a Managing Director and head of Prudential Bache's San Francisco Investment Banking Group.

Warren M. Foss
Managing Director, Institutional Sales

Mr. Foss has overall management responsibility at Needham & Company for the firm's equity business, including oversight of the sales, trading and new issue management functions. He is a member of the firm's operating committee and of its Board of Directors.

Mr. Foss was most recently a Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns prior to holding the positions of Managing Director and Principal at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette. Before joining DLJ, he had been a Managing Director at Salomon Brothers. Mr. Foss is a graduate of Harvard Business School.

Vincent J. Kenney
Managing Director, OTC Trading

Mr. Kenney formerly headed OTC Trading at Gerard Klauer Mattison for six years. Prior to that, he was an Associate at Furman Selz.

Theodor J. Kundtz
Managing Director, Equity Research

Prior to joining Needham & Co., Mr. Kundtz was Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers from September 1993, focusing on electronic components and imaging companies within the technology sector. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, Ted was with Bear Stearns for 14 years, most recently as Managing Director. His focus at Bear Stearns was on selected technology and growth stocks, including a number of Israeli-based technology companies. Additionally, he was manager from 1987 to 1993 of a team of analysts who covered most of the firm's corporate finance clients. Prior to joining Bear Stearns, Ted was an analyst at Standard & Poor's and manager of a group following technology companies. Previously, he was in the corporate finance department at Pfizer and with the Bureau of the Budget for the city of New York.

Ted received his BS in Business Administration from Georgetown University, his MBA at New York University and has completed all but his dissertation for a Ph.D. in Economics, also at NYU.

Glen W. Albanese
Managing Director, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Albanese joined Needham & Company in 1996. He was formerly in the mutual funds area of PaineWebber Group, Inc. Prior to that he was a Senior Accountant with Raines & Fischer CPA's. Certified Public Accountant, New York State.

André R. Horn
Chairman Emeritus

Mr. Horn was formerly Chairman and Chief Administrative Officer of Joy Manufacturing Company. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Remec, Varco International, Inc., and Western Digital Corporation. Mr. Horn resides in San Diego, California.

Edgar F. ("Ned") Heizer, Jr.
Director

Formerly Chairman of the Board and Founder of Heizer Corporation, a Chicago, Illinois-based business development company, Mr. Heizer is a member of the Board of Directors of Amdahl Corporation and Material Sciences Corporation.

Eugene R. White
Director

Mr. White was formerly Chief Executive Officer of Amdahl Corporation, a Sunnyvale, California-based manufacturer of mainframe computers and telecommunications products. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Varco International, Inc.

Joseph H. Reich
Director

Mr. Reich is currently the Managing General Partner of Centennial Associates, an investment partnership. He is the Founder and former President of Reich & Tang, a leading investment management firm specializing in equity management and mutual funds. In addition to Needham & Company, he serves on the Board of Directors of PCA
International, Inc.
