Tom Maloney joined Needham & Co., LLC in 1999. He is a member of the firm’s Operating Committee and Investment Policy Committee. Prior to being named Director of Research in 2006, Mr. Maloney worked on the institutional sales desk at Needham helping to disseminate the firm’s research ideas to institutional investors. He held similar roles at Tucker Anthony, Smith Barney, and Oppenheimer before joining Needham. His career began at Pepsi Cola as a business manager after receiving a BA in Economics from Brown University in 1988. He earned an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School in 1993 and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
