We will never forget the terrible events which unfolded in New York City, Washington, D.C. and Shanksville, PA on September 11, 2001. For those in the financial services community, the date will forever serve as a reminder of the colleagues, friends, and relatives that were lost in the terror attacks.

Needham & Company established the Needham September 11th Scholarship Fund shortly after the tragedy. Designed to support the children and dependents of the victims who lost their lives, the purpose of the fund is to ensure that victims’ children are provided with an opportunity for a private secondary and/or college-level education.

Scholarships are based on a combination of the applicant’s financial need, scholastic abilities, and community/civic involvement. To be considered for an award, an applicant must have a current cumulative GPA of 2.50 or equivalent. Applications are reviewed in an objective and non-discriminatory manner.
