Chris Pierce joined Needham & Company, LLC in 2020 as a research analyst covering Internet Services, transitioning from an equity trading background. He also covers Transportation Technology. Most recently, he spent four years Balyasny Asset Management trading TMT & HC out of their San Francisco office. Prior to that he spent 10 years as a trader at Ascend Capital LLC. He received his B.B.A. in Marketing from UMASS-Amherst in 1997, and an M.B.A from Pepperdine University in 1999.
