Austin Bohlig joined Needham & Company in 2025 covering Disruptive Industrial Tech with a focus on Drones, Industrial Robotics, and Digital Manufacturing. Prior to joining Needham, Austin served as the Head of Investor Relations at Markforged, a publicly traded additive manufacturing company. He also spent nearly two years at Deepwater Asset Management, helping the firm invest in early stage frontier tech startups. He began his career on the sell side as an equity research analyst at Piper Sandler, where he covered small-cap technology companies across sectors including digital manufacturing, optical networking, drones, and robotics. Austin holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from St. Cloud State University.
