Matt Stavris joined Needham & Company in 2017 to focus on Digital Health and Tech-enabled Services in Healthcare. Within the Software & Services group, his areas of focus include growth equity financings, initial public offerings, public follow-on offerings and M&A advisory across public and private healthcare technology companies. Prior to joining Needham, Matt held several strategy, operations and partnership management roles at athenahealth, Inc., a leading cloud-based practice management and care coordination platform. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Healthcare Fraud Analyst for the US Attorney’s Office in Boston, investigating Medicare & Medicaid fraud within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device industries. He holds an AB from Princeton University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
