Rob Jamieson joined Needham & Company in 2026 to help expand its coverage of Disruptive Industrial Tech with a focus on automation, test & measurement, sensor/connector and robotics subsectors. With 16 years of experience in research and sales & trading, Rob most recently served as a senior publishing analyst at Vertical Research Partners, where he spent the last two years establishing their Industrial Tech research coverage. Prior to that, he covered SMID Industrials at UBS (2022-24), and was part of the Industrial Technology, Automation, and Robotics research team at TD Cowen. Rob was a high touch sales trader for eight years based between London and NYC before starting his career in equity research in 2018. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Furman University.
