Mike Cikos, CFA joined Needham & Company in 2019, covering the Infrastructure & Analytics and Security Technology sectors. As a Senior Research Analyst, Mike’s work focuses on identifying the software and infrastructure best positioned to benefit as AI inference grows, data volumes surge, and attack surfaces widen. His vantage point has become central to understanding how AI is reshaping enterprise technology via increasing demand for data platforms, storage, and security; as well as where durable value accrues in the stack. With a background spanning buy-side software investing and sell-side research, Mike joined Needham following his tenure with buy-side investment firms Systematic Financial Management and RS Investments. He is a CFA charterholder and holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.
